Bought a 2002 (Swiss made) Explorer II. Advertised as “like new”. On direct question from me the seller assured me that all the parts where original (not even changed with original service parts) and that the watch was only given a light polish. I had a Authorised watchmaker inspect the watch. He concluded that the movement was nothing close to “like new”. The dial was not in original condition/poor attempt at refurbishing/added hints of miss coloring on some of the markers, probably to give it a vintage look. Super Luminova will not miss color over time. The watch had been recased, and the clasp was over polished.

Watch advertized as in perfect condition with a big dent on the case. Dent is important and invisible on the ad pics. Seller argues that "for its age the watch is good". Not trustworthy, not honest. I keep the watch as it was a gift but should have paid much less given the condition. Be very careful.

The vintage IWC I bought was not working and scratched at receiving it while in advance the seller had confirmed it just had had been serviced. Pictures showed a better watch then in reality.
